This movie has numerous jump scares, which fits well for this film. The performances are stellar, especially Lupita Nyong’o playing Sam, who conveyed emotions that resonate deeply with the viewer. A standout was Frodo the cat, performed by two real cats, which captivates attention and all without CGI!
This prequel, featuring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, tells how they navigate New York City during an alien invasion; Nyong’o’s terminally ill character, Samira, seeks to enjoy her final pizza. Quinn, as Eric, aids her journey, blending intense suspense with emotional depth. The film impressively combines heart-pounding and heartwarming elements, making it a satisfying experience with a good story line.
