Pressure tells the dramatic true story of professional rivalry and jeopardy behind the execution of the D-Day landings. As the Allies prepare for their land invasion of Nazi-occupied Europe, General Dwight Eisenhower (Fraser) summons two meteorologists, RAF Captain Stagg (Scott) and US Colonel Krick (Messina), to forecast the weather conditions in the English Channel. This information is critical to the operational plans. When they present dramatically different predictions, professional disagreement, private tensions and stubborn pride threaten the mission with disaster.
