A Member’s Choice and a 10th anniversary return as a tribute to the late Sam Neill:
This big-hearted comedy adventure tells the story of reclusive country folk Bella and Hector (Neill), who become foster parents to Ricky (Dennison), a problem child from the city. After some adjustment, things go reasonably well, but Bella dies and Hector reluctantly must now look after Ricky. However Children’s Services decide to send Ricky back to the orphanage, but he refuses to go back and runs away. Hector goes after him and this ultimately sparks a nationwide hunt across the New Zealand bush.
