Edgin (Chris Pine) is a wise-cracking former law enforcer turned thief and his tough and gruff partner in crime is Holga the Barbarian (Michelle Rodriguez). The duo are on the run from the law. Their quest is to get hold of a magic ‘resurrection tablet’ that could bring Edgin’s dead wife back to life and reunite him with his daughter. They’re aided by a gang of sidekicks, including a timid sorcerer and a pointy-eared shape-shifter. Along the way we’re treated to some good laughs, some exciting action, and some fun camaraderie.
An infectiously good-spirited comedy with a solid emotional core, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves offers fun fantasy and adventure in spades.
