Arriving at the Cote d’Azur apartment of his sister with his 5 year old son in tow, penniless Ali finds that there’s a spark of attraction between him and Stephanie a privileged but unhappy girl who trains killer whales at a local resort. When an accident at work leaves Stephanie confined to a wheelchair she finds Ali’s indifference to her condition to be liberating and the pair begin a passionate affair.
